I have used Norton for years but had problems last year with Norton obstructions on my iMac so deleted it. Absolutely not worth the money - the costumer service was helpful though, which is the only reason I gave them 2 stars. Windows Defender is far less annoying and works too if you do not do anything crazy on your computer. Just called again, and he was very nice but told be it would take another 2 weeks for the money to appear in my bank account because the refund was blocked somehow. I requested a refund through costumer service. They did not email me in advance to ask if I wanted to stop or keep going with my Norton 360 subscription - they just went ahead and withdrew 89,99 euros. It is almost like they're the virus - the pop-ups won't close, you get commercials saying specific darkweb activity was detected but you can't see what happened until you pay this much extra, whenever stuff does not load right the pop-up to restart your computer does not close. Norton works well as antivirus software, but the pop-ups are so annoying. It's not the customer's fault that your app locks people out and irreversibly causes them to lose all of their data. Thanks, Norton, for losing literally ALL of my encrypted data.

I did some research online, and other people have experienced the exact same issue. I've been locked out of my account since, and the only 'solution' offered by customer service has been to wipe out my entire vault and irretrievably lose hundreds of passwords and encrypted notes about my entire life. It logged me out and asked for a password instead.

After years of adding encrypted notes and all of my passwords to the app, one day the app abruptly stopped asking me for biometric information. When I first set up my Norton Password Manager, I was advised to use the app on my iPhone with biometric verification to access what they call 'the vault', which was supposed to unequivocally and safely verify my identify without me having to remember a password (makes sense, right? After all, it's a password manager.). We're talking a lifetime of personal information. Norton has caused me to lose every single password and encrypted notes I've ever added to their Password Manager.
